WebNov 25, 2012 · The check valve is in the accelerator pump nozzle. If you have never done this before, REMOVE THE CARB, and then take out the large screw in the centre of the primaries. Below it is the little check valve (or a ball sometimes). If it will not come out, you may have to coax it with some cleaner.
