WebJul 9, 2013 · The only OD 5 speed likely to be found in a ford (at least according to what I have found, could be wrong, let me know) is the 280VO. The ratios are 5.98, 3.50, 1.86, 1.00, and 0.80 with a 5.04 reverse. Am presently running this behind a healthy 351 and 3.89 rear gears. Gives me great mileage with the tall gears and gets the rpm down abit.
