Due to the "rainbow" trajectory of a rimfire, there are typical "GO TO" site in distances,, If you site in a 22LR at 15 yards, it will be again on target at another distance, such as 75 yards. (These numbers depend a lot on the height of the scope or sites above the bore, so, the numbers vary.)
